Through a Glass, Darkly

Our mate, Zé Maria, our first friend in Mourão, and a faithful one. We so miss seeing people, miss our weekly visits to the Adega (closed since March), miss hugs and beijinhos, miss the contact and the long chats. Saw him through the café window on our way back from the market, where we stocked up on fruit and vegetables, good ol' Maria. Confined to barracks otherwise. He was begging us to come in and have a coffee, but we thought best not. Shame, though.

Gratefuls:
- if you look closely at the extra, you will see... snowflakes falling!!! (and one of our decimated olive trees). Laughable compared to a lot of your pics, but we've never seen it here before. Of course, it didn't settle, but still...
- that sun is forecast, so might be able to light the pellet burner tomorrow - it's dependent on electricity for electronic controls and fans, and glad we have a wood burner meanwhile, that doesn't need electricity
- the love we feel for this guy
