The far north
Headed to the beautiful north coast this morning to meet friend J for a walk. 'We'll meet at xx' she said, 'it'll be easy to park.' Well it wasn't. It was heaving, cars and vans everywhere as people had ventured out to queue at the fast food shack.
Happily the coastal path itself was clear and quiet, until we got turned back by some walkers because a woman had fallen and the paramedics were in attendance. We walked up a track to the road and passed the waiting ambulance. I hope she wasn't badly hurt.
Back at home daughter J is working so hard (with occasional tears), it's painful to watch. All I can really do is serve up food and encouraging words. Talking of words, I managed to write one whole paragraph today - it's only taken me a week.
