I gave this to the Driver for Christmas. He loved it! But it’s the latest from Ken Follett, the prequel to Pillars of the Earth which we both read years ago and which remains one of our favourites . Love the way he writes. This one is called The Evening and the Morning. I started it mid morning and I’m reluctant to close it but the Covid free kids are on their way up for dinner. I’ve missed the little ones :-)
