Phone home!!

We have left the Westman Islands and are back in Reykjavik. The weather has not improved and we are having a lazy day. I need one as I'm going down with a sore throat and cold.

I must say, Icelanders are very friendly, they can't do enough for you. The hotel is superb and the restaurants are excellent.

I saw this telephone sculpture in the harbour on the Island of Heimaey. I believe it marks a telephone cable coming ashore from the mainland, I may be wrong. I think it's great!!!
