Safe and Warm

After a difficult day yesterday with mum she was much better on herself today which made it easier for us.   When she is feeling unwell it is hard work.   However, left her nice and cheery.

When I returned home, I set off for a short walk towards Horbury, the next town/village (never really sure what constitutes a village).   There are one or two farms nearby and I thought the calves looked cute in the barn.   Around the other side of the farm were the older herd, all inside safe and warm.   In extras a view across the fields.

After the heavy frost yesterday, we are back to milder weather, although still cold.   We seem to have escaped most of the snow here.
