Darter Dinner

Spotted this darter with his big fish dinner that he had just caught. He was having a lot of trouble figuring out how to get it around the right way to then swallow it. Toto got bored in the end and started pulling me away and just as I was about to give up he flipped the fish and down it went!   It looked like he choked on it for a while as he was whipping his head around for quite a few minutes but eventually he was ok and spread his wings to dry and looked very pleased with himself (see extras for that moment!).

Mono Monday was forgotten after I saw the fish dinner happening!! :o)
