The life & times of Jacks

Locked In

It feels like forever that we have been locked in down.  Today has been a long old day at work.

Phoebe was a nightmare on the walk to the park - she's started just stopping and won't move on the way to the park as well as home now.  Steve's been reading up about how to manage it to get her to willingly walk.

At the park she got a bunch of thistles stuck to her fur - absolute nightmare to get them out of her in the park when she was wet and a little bit muddy so I had to carry her all the way home which I think she secretly liked.  My arms are feeling the burden of her 8.2kg frame.

Rosie seems to be better - there's been no blood since yesterday and since we know the vet stresses her out we are continuing with the advice we got here and giving her soupey chicken, making sure her wet food has cats milk and she has easy and clear access to her cat flap at all times.  She seems ok - she's been down begging for treats so let's keep a close eye.  I worry not going to the vet will be a mistake so it's like weighing up which is the worst option - decision just postponed until tomorrow.

Man, work was hard today - wanted to be in bed by 10 and finished work by about 10:20pm which absolutely sucks.

Bedtime now I think.
