Double yoga after work (a first for me) - goodness I’m stiff from the cold weather and lack of yoga of Christmas so it was a bit hard.

This evening I’ve been trying to research a tiny plastic brooch in my possession.

I knew it was old and thought it was a lucite kingfisher but this website suggests it is 1940s celluloid kookaburra and originates from Japan. Thank goodness for the internet as I doubt I would have found this information otherwise. The seller of this version has made a very pretty shop online and she’s displayed her version of the brooch on a bed of leaves together with a fan of fresh cherries! I guess she’s trying to draw in the window shoppers!
