Sunny Jelly Ears

Wandering along Heygate Lane this morning the sun was shining and making this Jelly Ear Fungus sparkle. It was growing on an old log. I can see a face on the large portion - check the eyes and nose in the thumbnail image - looks like a sleeping giant. Losing the plot :-)

It was a beautiful sunny morning - and, for once, it seems that folk were very careful to keep socially distant. Maybe, just maybe, the message is getting through - or maybe my deodorant isn’t strong enough :-)

Another day of not doing much…chopped up some cardboard boxes for the recycling bin collection tomorrow, topped up the bird feeders, replaced the drinking water filter in the kitchen and then did some housework…(really must have been bored for that to feature).

Some leftover roast chicken and coconut milk in the fridge - may turn that into a chicken korma for tea…
