Promise of New Life

Last Autumn I treated myself to three Sedum plants, all guaranteed to add colour and interest to one of my favourite times of the year.  I then foolishly left them in my mother's hot flat, and by the time they had been rescued, they were looking distinctly sad.

Never the less, I planted them out in a large terracotta pan and kept my fingers crossed.

Today I can report that new life is emerging, and hopefully next autumn these plants will provide the display I was looking for.
