That's it folks

It has flowered its socks of for a couple of weeks but this is the last one.

Well that's been a stressful few hours.   Simon rang last night to say Luke's blood count was too low and they would both have to stay in isolation for however long it takes.  This meant Simon didn't have an overnight bag for either of them, plus none of Luke's medication.

Simon's partner is still isolating as is his ex-wife, so we had the task of picking up items from both houses this morning knowing they could be contaminated.  Trust me, I'm neurotic and was ultra-cautious.

We drove to Addenbrooke's (filthy weather) and eventually found where to go, rang a number and someone came out to collect the items.

Came home, had a large glass of sherry, straight down.  (After hanging my coat in isolation and washing my hands thoroughly).

We had to drive through an industrial estate between the two homes and were incredulous at the amount of businesses that were open and the number of cars littering the streets.  Unbelievable.  Business as usual.
