A monster

Simon and Luke were allowed home late yesterday afternoon from solitary confinement, and Simon said he was mortified that they weren't allowed out of their room and had to use a "commode".  Luke has had to have two blood transfusions and some other unpleasant injections, but his dad says he grits his teeth and gets on with it.

It's rained here all day and the orchard over the back has flooded, which we've never seen before, and the garden is completely saturated.  I did walk down to the post box to send an important birthday card to a very special lady.

Another friend has had an urgent recall to hospital following tests on Tuesday morning which is very worrying.  This really isn't the best time to need treatment.
