If you can't beat them...

Robin ( Erithacus rubecula )

I have been trying for days to catch this little fella on the seed feeder with no luck.  Being ground feeders usually they don't take easily to landing on a small perch attached to a swinging feeder.  This one is getting much better at the maneuver.

The seed tray on the other hand presents no problems whatever.  Considering they are very territorial birds only tolerating their mate u=in the territory there are an impressive 7,400,000 territories in the breeding season.
