River of Flowers

Wednesday: Robin Singing at Dusk

It rained all day, that fine drizzly rain which has little more substance than mist. Very mild though, around 10°C for most of the day.
Ventured to the compost bins when we had a break in the rain - I'm kicking myself for the lack of salads this year, not sure what happened but I found a few perennial leaves in pots which I've moved into the greenhouse - common sorrel, red-veined sorrel and Good King Henry - maybe some leaves in a couple of weeks!
Decided to put yesterday's damp clothes onto the clothes maid upstairs and had the heating on for a couple of hours, they soon dried!
Made Leek & Potato soup for lunch, MrD on deliveries and had taken a sandwich with him.
As for the Robin in today's title, probably in our neighbour's silver birch at the highest branch ... but sadly too dark to be sure!
Stay safe & healthy and happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
