Getting To Know You

A busy old day again, it seems relentless at the moment, probably not helped by the lockdown scenario we find ourselves in.

It was the proper start of the European journey today as we got to down to business and identified where each organisation is.  There's a lot of work ahead to bring everyone up to the standard that we are in the UK, and then there's obviously the cultural challenge we have with little old me from Wales leading a team from Sweden, Belgium and Germany.

Great excitement today when my father had an official letter from the NHS, it was like Christmas as he opened it, all of us in hope that was news about the vaccine and him arranging a booking.  Sadly it was nowhere near as exciting, it was a bowel screening letter with a nice container to obtain a sample.  What a let down, you could say it was poop ;)

Managed a quick power ramble at lunchtime, not as wet as yesterday.  This tree had fallen into the river the other week, I noticed today that with the river running high it has shifted it's position, just goes to show the awesome power of nature and water.
