Robin Montage

Just for the hell of it I thought I would try out my most extreme telephoto set up on garden birds at the feeder. So with a fuji xt3 camera body I was shooting with a canon 300mm lens plus converter with a fuji doubler sandwiched in between. I can just about autofocus with this but it is straining the batteries and manual focus is much easier to use. Whilst it enlarged my bird subjects it gave me a depth of focus of lens than. a centimetre so I need to be bang on with my focussing. Though I took a number of birds it was this robin that first caught my eye so in the end I decided to do a montage off it.
