Curlew on the beach

I took Zoe down to Seafield Pond this morning and went across to the sea wall to look at the birds on the beach. As usual this was mainly gulls and oystercatchers. However  there was one solitary bird well away from the flock of gulls and it turned out to be my very favourite bird, a curlew so I was very pleased to get some shots of it.
