Another past concert programme & ticket memento from my photo book …

6 years ago tonight, seeing Queen + Adam Lambert at The Hydro in Glasgow.

This page from my book: that and the other two ‘Queen+’ concerts that I’ve seen – Queen + Paul Rodgers in 2008 and Queen + Adam Lambert again in 2017.

Some people seem to object to the Queen+ projects, arguing that no-one can replace Freddie Mercury. That is undoubtedly true, but I think Adam Lambert himself says he’s not replacing Freddie, and he is quite the master showman himself, and a good fit with Brian May & Roger Taylor; these were such enjoyable shows! Seeing them again in 2022 if all goes to plan!
