Study in monos

Taken as we came through from Perth up to Pitlochry - honestly, not sure quite where. It reminded me of the 'Joy of Painting' chap, Bob Ross, in that it's all about atmosphere and a fence in the foreground to draw the eye. I hope you get a sense of movement too as we were in transit at the time, even if it was quite cautious!

Thankfully, the wet snow and slushy roads of the first half of today's journey turned into plain old Wet. In places, very wet with large puddles, but nothing we couldn't manage without tension. It was interesting how inured we became to the slightly challenging (for us) conditions; clenched buttocks relaxed and comments were even passed on whether or no overtaking (on a dual carriageway) might be feasible.

Anyway, we're back to our northern fastness which is a darn sight more friendly in terms of weather than the southern stuff!

Forgive me, but I need to go to bed. Commenting should be resumed soon ...
