Ben Visit

Half a school day on a Friday for Ben so he came over to us to brighten our day.

We decided to bake cookies to have with a mid afternoon cuppa and drink. After the bowl was to be scraped Ben was saying that sometimes this but is better than once they are cooked.

They turned out fabulous so we had two each which isn’t great for my regime! But warm cookies......

Then he saw the big wallpaper scissors and asked if they are for cutting up dead bodies!! WHAT!!!

We had a game of Carcassone which was pretty evenly matched. I restrained myself from cursing when Ben repeatedly invaded my castles !

He went home after 7 and the place was too quiet again.
