Hi it's me, honest

seeing that there is talk of having to wear masks outside as well as in shops we decided to get some fancy masks. We have the proper medical ones for shopping, Paula got a box full a while back, but though it would be nice to have something a bit more fancy. They are triple lined and you can machine wash them so are better for the environment. They fit nice too.

We went for a walk this morning, had to stay on the grass verges because the paths were very slippy, the snow was deep so it was hard going, but then the sun came out and it started to thaw and around lunchtime I went out to lock up the gate and it was really warm just like a late spring day. In fact if there hadn't have been snow still on the garden I could have gone and done some weeding. It's nearly all gone but there is still some snow about.

I watched The Pink Panther tonight which I had recorded, it was the newer version with Steve Martin as Clouseau  which I didn't know at the time, it was a laugh but not as good as the Peter Sellers version. It cheered us up a bit, nice to have a bit of a laugh sometimes.
