Bathers

The visiting flocks of Robins absolutely love our bog! With it's gently flowing water the perfect depth for a refreshing bath, the bog is a very busy place for many varieties of winged things! The Pileated Pair enjoyed it earlier this morning, bathing modestly behind some plants and just out of sight so I wasn't able to get a photo. I watched as they moved down a tree trunk and into the water, so I knew what they were up to. You know that I'll work on getting that shot!
