Plans out the window

Slept well, woke up before hub, so lay there making plans for the day ahead. Once he woke, I left him catching up on the cricket whilst I prepared breakfast, cornflakes, tea & toasted fruit loaf for him and fruit & yogurt for me. Once meds & injection done I set about the first task......to register the new TV I bought for the bedroom, when hub was in hospital. A doddle it said, do it via your account on the tv it said!! An hour and a half later, still no joy, tried phoning, after a long wait gave up. Try downloading the Samsung Members app and register that way it said!! Couldnt even find the app in the App Store..... needless to say I was really cheesed off having wasted over half the morning and not got anywhere!!!

Downstairs a lot later than I wanted......we face timed hubs sis & BiL, had a nice catch up with them after we had a coffee & biscuit ;-)
Hubs finally got into drinking more water, which is much needed whilst having chemo.

We had ham & cheese toasties for lunch today. I had planned to go out for a walk this afternoon but by the time we had had lunch, face timed with daughter for a while, done a bit more jigsawing, it was 3.30 and my team were on tv at 4.30...... so that plan went out the window too!

Todays blip is my banana bread......not really sure why they call it bread though, more cake really ;-) Tastes lovely especially when its still warm and a little crunchy around the edges.

Dinner tonight has been lamb steak with mint sauce, cauliflower & brocolli in cheese sauce and buttery mashed potato, we enjoyed it :-)

The footy was a disappointment, a 0-0 draw, quite uneventful.....result probably suited us, and Man City more than Liverpool!

Hubs currently watching Snooker, something else we wouldnt normally watch, but doesnt require too much concentration. Hes had another pretty good day today :-)

Hospital for bloods tomorrow pre third cycle of chemo starting Tuesday.

Another new week ahead, take care folks!
