Sealed with a kiss

Slept pretty well, both of us, awake before our alarm went off......needed to leave by 9.15.
Breakfast was porridge, fruit & yogurt and a cuppa.

We had just set off when the rain started. M'ways were fairly quiet, we made good time, dropped hub off just after 10 for his 10.15 slot. I parked up then walked across to Maggies Centre, to wait for hub to ring me when he was done. Hes had a bit of sensitivity with one of his teeth, he mentioned it as it was worrying him in terms of preventing his chemo going ahead tomorrow.
We had to wait for a phone call to confirm all ok from our specialist nurse this afternoon.
In the meantime I spoke to our dentist in Manchester, who agreed to see hub for an assessment at 3.30, so we decided to wait at Maggies, rather than go home and come back into Manchester again.

Todays blip was taken whilst we sat earing a sandwich in Maggies passing the time......its a lovely relaxing environment, not sure hub appreciated it today though :-/ This is the view from inside out, looking at their garden room, which sadly, at the moment is not accessible, but I bet its lovely to sit in there on a bright Spring day :-)

We got to the dental practice just after 3, had to wait in the car a while. After the dentist xray, she confirmed all is good, shes prescribed some high fluoride toothpaste to sort out his sensitivity until his treatment is finished, then he can have a full check up and take it from there......so we are good to go tomorrow. Having said that, hubs found today very stressful, is feeling tired and a bit breathless. I am sure its more anxiety related and once tomorrow is out of the way, he will be more relaxed again.

A quick pizza dinner this evening as we have been out from 9.15 to 5.15, which wasnt planned obviously. I put some laundry on before we left.....fortunately it was woollens, so not too many creases after 8 hours lol!

Daughter & granddaughter popped to ours whilst we have been out....left us a "little something" to spur us on for the next 10 days, which are generally a bit tougher post chemo.

Do t think we will be late to bed tonight.....hub is currently watching Battlestar Gallactica to distract himself from the stresses & strains of the day......Ive kissed him a least "3 times" today ;-)

Hope you are all keeping well & safe
