My family had Minkey put down by the vet today; he was very elderly, and had been getting progressively more run down as he struggled with a terminal tumour, and today was the day when it seemed unambiguous that euthanasia was the kindest course of action.
I had a complicated relationship with him, but he was certainly characterful and was always captivating; he was well loved and will be very missed.
