Testing the Limits

To date I haven't been a big fan of my attempts at macro photography (I stunk) or, since I have an inate sense of value and economy since I'm cheap, been willing to spend the $ for a macro lens.

Recently I picked up a set of four close up filters for Niki, one of my "big boy" cameras and, low and behold, they may be the answer.

My blip this Tiny Tuesday (thanks loisbiz) is a bit of an experiment using a #10 filter to photograph the other three and see what I could get away with.

"Hmmm, Pepper" I said to myself, "not half bad" (the official quality standard of the Pepper Patch).
