"There is nothing so past as a Past President" was the remark made to me when I handed over the reigns of the RIAS Stirling Chapter nearly 30 years ago.

There is quite a deal of truth in the statement. After today’s ceremony, that may apply as well.

We have a box of decorations for Thanksgiving Day, and it is this box that features in today’s Blipfoto.

We can pray for healing and a coming together. That is my wish. An opportunity to be kind to each other in what are very difficult times for us all.

That opportunity is indeed something to be Thankful for.
