Golden late afternoon light

So wonderful to have a second day of wall to wall sunshine, a cold crisp day which once again engendered a feeling of well-being despite the circumstances we all find ourselves in.

The pandemic seems to be receding although still high. Even the news that the new variant might be more serious dampen spirits. The new start in the USA, the promise of spring and the sunny weather make all the difference and more and more blippers are reporting their vaccination.

We had various cleaning and cooking duties this morning and Susan went to her mum’s who had a visit from a physiotherapist to assess her mobility issues. Hallelujah! We’ve been trying to get someone out to see her. At last, she’s going to get some help on a regular basis, may be too little, too late.

Our afternoon walk was completed in the daylight for the first time in weeks. It was in Mote Park that the golden light illuminated this woodland and wetland scene.
