Snowy Allotment

We managed a brief visit to our Allotment, quite late this afternoon - just to check that everything was in order. Fair amount of snow still around - and the ground continues to be frozen solid, so absolutely no chance of getting the remaining potatoes lifted today!

Just look at those lovely clear blue skies; the snap was taken as we left (close to sunset) to walk home - it certainly feels like it could get *really* cold overnight and suspect there will be a further heavy frost in the morning.
