This is the Andy Scott statue "Air Spirirt", which I came across while running in the Alloa Half Marathon today.

Air Spirit lives at the top of a hill that you hit around mile ten of the race, having previously battled headwinds and cold rain for around five miles as you head due west through the Hillfoot villages.

Now, I'm not saying that Mr Scott knew anything about the route of the half marathon. But this statue has got sharp, painful looking spikes in his legs.
