Back to walking

The icy pond in the photo doesn't normally exist here, on the former golf course.
It covered the pathways but I climbed the ridge to pass rather than swim.
There is a lot less water around though.
Some treacherous paths still but most are avoidable as you can walk on the crunchy, iced grass.
Bitter cold wind but blue sky and some weak sunshine.
Feeling pleased to have some sunshine.
