Carnethy Hill

As the forecast was for one last day of good weather we drove to near Silverburn and went up South Black Hill before continuing eastward along the ridge to Turnhouse Hill before doubling back and down to the car again. What the forecast didn’t get right was the wind; it was a fairly steady 50 to 60 kms on the ridges and decidedly Baltic, so we didn’t hang around. The views were still good and I liked the view from South Black Hill towards Carnethy Hill in the shade.

Best on black.
