Day 56 of 365 - Coventry Council House!

Welcome to day 56 of 365.

Today's image is of the front of the City Council House in Coventry. Even though the building looks like it is of Medieval origin, it was actualy only built about 100 years ago. Construction started in 1913 and the building was completed in 1917. The coat of arms for Coventry can be seen near the bottom of the image. Near the top of the building there are three large statues depicting Earl Leofric, his wife Lady Godiva and, at the top, Justice.

As always the shot was taken with my iPhone 5. The photo was taken today using the App HDR. The original image can be found here: Unedited original Image

I used PhotoToaster to edit the image. Finally I finished off the picture using the App ShockMyPic to help make the image more striking.
