Shield Bug Minding His Own Business

Its been a rather nice, quiet and relaxing Tuesday off. Couldnt bring myself to do much at all just take advantage of not having to do anything.  

Toto was confused and woke me by panting in my face at 5.48am as if to say aren't you getting up? Anyway I slept a little longer but my body was saying breakfast so sleep was no longer an option! :o). The rest of the day has been relaxing and of course Toto thought it would be good to take a late afternoon walk and I agreed!  A quick walk around the little park where I saw this shield bug sitting on a pole. I got as close as I could without scaring him off, love those funny eyes ;o)
