Kiwi Summer.... Motueka Estuary

It has been hot here today; not uncomfortably because a cooling breeze picked up late morning. Rachel had brought her inflatable Paddle Board with her from Marlborough. She had a good paddle around the bay before joining Margaret and me in the sea for a swim. Around 6.30pm we went to “The Beached Whale” cafe for drinks and conviviality. Then Rachel and I drove to Motueka hoping to walk the Estuary Walkway. Alas we missed the best of the late light.
