Day Twelve: A Rash Splash…… ?

We’ve been busy. It rained during the night, torrential at times. I paddled around the caravan, awning and Gazebo around two thirty in the morning checking for leaks. Luckily I found no significant ones. A relief. Margaret departed for Blenheim this morning. Keith was very pleased to see her. Then late morning son Duncan arrived. He’d spent two nights stying with Hannah and Alex at Marahau. It was good that the clouds dispersed and the sun came out making for a hot humid afternoon. Duncan and I walked around the estuary via the bush track . We photographed a big group of swimmers taking turns to jump from a bridge into the tidal waters at nearly full tide. It looked very scary to me.
