Making Marmalade

Yesterday I was lucky enough to buy the last Seville oranges in the shop so today made a batch of marmalade.  The annual task of marmalade making always marks the new year. When I was teaching it was always a February half term job but being retired there's much more time for doing other things. With being in lockdown there's no shortage of time at home!

There's still some snow around although the rain has reduced it considerably.  There have been plenty of birds visiting my feeders including a nuthatch and long-tailed tits.  It will be easier for them to find food without the snow.
