Dreaming

A few weeks ago, we had a speaker at camera club (Jeanette Lendon) on mobile phone photography. Jeanette  was a gifted speaker with an enthusiasm for her craft. She is a pro photographer and only uses her iPhone for all her shots. Our eyes were opened on its potential, especially with using the Snapseed editing software.  We were set a challenge to work at our phone camera skills and present the results to all the members, As that event is next week  I've been working on some editing skills in Snapseed. I was determined to do one multiple exposure composite but it's  been a steep learning curve and consumed many hours to sort the technique of masking. Using a selfie (yuk), I layered on an airport walkway, Sydney Harbour Bridge and an aeroplane - that's me dreaming of better days and travel around the world. Final effort above!

The biggest challenge came with resizing the images to our competition entry requirements on the phone too. This took ages although normal computer would have been done in minutes.
