Learning day by day

Cat in a box

Where there's an empty box it will quickly be filled by a cat, until she realises you are amused by it and then she will totally ignore them.

Wednesday did not start well, but it improved. Carys had two ballet classes, the first to help her learn the variation she has chosen for the Performance Platform competition. It needs to be filmed and submitted by mid February. The other was centre work and turns with Xander Parish which she enjoyed despite the blisters from the earlier class.

Will ran with me, with less whinging. He had his zoom class meeting, his ballet class and a zoom scout meeting about the Lockhearnhead trip that will hopefully happen in August, fingers and toes crossed.

The Prime Minister mention 8th March as a tentative date for schools reopening should everything go well, but didn't mention how or which groups or anything concrete, apparently that will be revealed on 22nd Feb. I am not holding my breath and I can't see the point of opening to all for three weeks followed by a two week Easter holiday when if they waited until after Easter we would have the benefit of five more weeks of no mixing in schools for 'only' three weeks of most kids being out of school. I know three weeks seems a lot, but the benefits it could bring in terms of hospital numbers going down and infection rates too surely have to be worth it in the long run?
