Fountainbridge Tootle

Since I took up 'blipping', my walks have got shorter but take longer!  A meander around Fountainbridge today after a hefty genealogy session.  This is the back of St. Cuthbert's Co-operative building.  A turreted baronial style designed in 1880 remained the HQ until 2005.  The 'store' faced onto Fountainbridge and the back was for a bakery, dairy and stables.  I love the curving majestic shape - reminds me of a Roman ampitheatre.

Another dreich day.
