Flower of Sorts

Other than it’s meant to be an ornamental flower in a vase we have no idea what it’s supposed to be.  Any ideas??
 
Mrs W hates it as it’s such a dust trap, so it has been banished to my props box.  I figure that I should be able to get quite a few blips out of this with different lighting.  The Cree led torches will come into their own, and I tried different variations this afternoon.  This shot was not what I had in mind and I only noticed it as I was clearing up.  All the others involved back lighting and close up.
