The lettuce thief

This snail had a bit of lettuce in its mouth when I spotted it. It must have been in a lettuce coma since the six lettuces I had planted had all but disappeared during the day. 

It has been raining non-stop all day. I've had a day of catching up on work and getting myself organised for next week. I feel like I've made some headway. 

MrB and I took Abe to the Wetlands, despite the rain, for a good blast (he was doing zoomies around the living room; evidently in need of letting off some steam). We met a number of different dogs, small and large. Abe played so well and came back when we called. He was a model dog in fact.
