Reflections - WA Museum Boola Bardup

Our day didnt go as planned as Julian had his first soccer match of the season this morning and the dates had been mixed up! So he didnt get to me until midday and by the time we got to the city and had lunch and walked down to the museum we realised we werent going to have much time in there as there was a big queue waiting outside !!

So we walked around the outside and I took a few shots of the exteriors.  Its a fabulous mixture of the old and the new as they’ve kept a lot of the old buildings in the cultural precinct and incorporated them into the museum.

There’s a great video of a drone fly through at the link below for a bit of a look through it all, it made my head spin at times!! ; )

‘Boola Bardip means 'many stories' in Noongar language. The name recognises that the museum sits on Whadjuk Noongar land, and honours the cultural heritage of Australia's First Peoples. It also acknowledges the shared cultural heritage of the nearly 2.9 million people who call Western Australia home.’

We’ll go another day when we have more time!!  We had a great day anyway as usual, nothing worries us and we just go with the flow ;o)

A few more shots in extras.
