Soon May the Wellerman Come . . .

. . . to bring us sugar and tea and rum!!!!

Well, I might not have guessed that my morning tasks would include fashioning a sailor hat for T. Tiger and dress whites and a fancy gold foil sailing collar for Lil RBG, his first mate. But indeed, that is what transpired, as we set up our tribute to the Wellerman!!!

We had a fine photo shoot, and everybody got to try their hand at sailing the sloop. T. Tiger and Lil RBG also recreated a famous moment at the bow of the ship from that other sailing story, Titanic. You may see that fun photo in the extras.

Overheard at the photo shoot:

Red Crittergator: RED RUM!!! RED RUM!!!! RED RUM!!!!

Another Crittergator: You're gonna need a bigger boat!

Lil RBG (in the extras): I'm flying, Jack!
T. Tiger: Who's Jack?

Husband: You're losing it, hon!!!   ;-)

The soundtrack song has to be the Wellerman. I'm including two favorite versions. The first one is just three people: the blonde, the bass in red, and Nathan; they just look like they're having an awesomely fun time.
