Fife Ness

Geordie looking windswept at Fife Ness  This is a headland forming the most eastern point of Fife.  Fife is shaped like the head of a Scottish Terrier, a Scotty Dog, and Fife Ness can be found at the dogs nose/muzzle.
We walked here from Kilminning, a nature reserve on the coastal path just east of Crail.  It was cold and windy, but the sun shone and the sea had some great rollers, with the surf highlighted by the sun.  No traffic sounds, just the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks.  Our walk took us about two hours and we only passed three couples, so very quiet.
Once home we soon warmed up, then settled down on the sofa with Geordie`s head on my lap, and watched a film.  Don`t usually watch TV during the day, but I thought since it`s Saturday, why not.
