Late for the Gardenwatch Party

We haven't seen the long tailed tits in the elder tree for some time and I was hoping they would turn up yesterday whilst I was doing the Gardenwatch count, but sadly not.  Then a short while ago, Tony called me to look out of the window and there was a small flock of them in the tree.  This is not the sharpest blip as it had to be through the glass to avoid spooking them.  It's made up for being shackled to the computer working on the newsletter all day.
