We had a pretty good RSPB Garden Birdwatch first thing this morning although a couple of our regulars didn't show.  Our final count was:

Siskins 8
Robins 2
Goldfinches 5
Nuthatch 1
Redpoll 1

The remainder of the day has been spent preparing the next issue of our Club newsletter for printing/web upload, still more to do on that one.

The highlight of the day was a Skype with Euan who gave us a big smile before demonstrating 'round'.  I think he will always associate us with our washing machine going round!  We followed him on a tour of his Nana's house, watched him slide, climb the stairs, bounce on the bed, draw a picture and then there was just time for us to read him Colin the Caterpillar before we had to go and make dinner.
