a lifetime burning

I was moping about complaining about the poor light and that I was struggling to find anything to blip as lunchtime approached today.  But then Cathy and I had a really good excuse to get out for our walk as the weather turned a bit wintery for a while as you can see from this panorama shot.  It snowed for about an hour and then gradually turned to sleet.  Its too wet to have settled properly so its all gone now.  But we enjoyed it while we had the chance.

While out we also enjoyed spotting various bits of local wildlife including  a couple of hares in a nearby field.

The forecast for the week ahead doesn't look too promising for outdoor photography - its slated to be wet.  Ho hum.
