The Pink Bridge on Route 54 near to Etwall, okay so I've fiddled a little but it was definitely pink.

John and I headed west from Mickleover along the cycle track really quickly this morning, getting as far west as we reasonably could while standing a chance of getting home before dark. Once we left the track of course we were slower on rough, wet and muddy terrain and I won't mention the deep cowsh*t we had to wade through only to discover that the farmer had blocked off the remainder of the footpath. A semi flooded field of long grass cleaned us up a little later.

A couple of detours, both forced and elective, bumped up our mileage and we eventually got back just as dusk was falling. Exhausting but enjoyable.
