Birthday Buddies

67 years ago, little Lisa (my wife) was born to her parents Richard and Paula. I met her about 16-17 years after that, and we were married in 1973.

On her 29th birthday, we gave birth to our son Jeff, with Jeff joining his sisters Julie and Karen. Using my limited math skills, that makes Jeff 38 today.

I usually am in Florida for Jeff's b-day, so it was nice to see him tonight.

Lisa had a great birthday. Our friends Mike and Cindy invited us over after church for a soup lunch, and all of our kids bought us pizza for supper. 

Life is good, and I love my birthday buddies. In an unusual twist, it is also the birthday of Jeff's mother-in-law Debbie.
